I started in sales in b2c & then fell in love with B2b sales, funnels etc & i recently got promoted to a SR AE role at motive. Besides my regular 9-5 i love to give back to community so i work as a career advisor & coach & offer consultation on how to break into tech in sales , interview prep, resume reviews & more
What was your journey into a career in Tech Sales
I was always in sales & then I got obsessed with Saas , tech & great products. Thats how I landed a role in the product team at motive , worked as a product specialist level 1, level 2, level 3 , transitioned into a Customer Success role & then I transitioned into tech sales.
What would you say are the best things about working in Tech Sales
For me it's learning the product, along with flexible work schedule & remote perks. i have been working remotely since 2018 & couldn't be more productive & happier.
What advice would you give to someone who is just about to start their career in sales
Be coachable, trust the process, find a great mentor.
